Pridvorje, a village in Konavle, is actually comprised of several small hamlets, shown here with colored arrows:

Red arrow is the Franciscan monastery. The old Rector's Palace was near here. This was the center of Konavle government when Konavle was part of the Dubrovnik Republic (1420s-1806). The Rector was appointed one year at a time from among the nobility of Dubrovnik.

The mountain to the right is called Kis"nik. To the left are the lower reaches of Snijez"nica, the highest mountain in the area at 3700 feet.
