Text from Stanovnis"tvo Konavala, Vol. 2

This text (below) is an excerpt from Stanovnis"tvo Konavala, Vol. 2, and partly describes the surname chart for the village of Mikulic'i. This is from the famous "earthquake census" taken in 1674. Names are the heads of households. The number in parentheses after each name is the total number of people within that household. The middle name is actually the father's name. For example, name #1 shows Luka Srgota whose father was D'uro. The original hand-written document also shows the age of the head of household as well as a few of the names of adults within each household. (nekoc' = formerly; kasnije = later; patr. = patronym)
